Hannah Turns 9!
Well, this actually happened on March the first! I’m just a little behind. Hannah had a great birthday. We started out the day by taking her to IHOP for breakfast! While we were waiting for our table some very dear and close friends popped in! So we added two more to our table! While we were waiting for our food, we read Hannah a birthday blessing from Russell and myself.

Allow yourself to be slow to anger, slow to speak but quick to listen. May God’s grace continue to flow over you as you learn to hear God’s voice and respond to it. Always seek the Lord in all you do!

After reading her birthday blessing, we presented her with a surprise birthday present. Russell had picked her up a horse necklace in Texas. She was very surprised. She had asked that her present be to go to the indoor water park, Ray’s Splash Planet, in Charlotte. So she got two presents this year!
Saturday afternoon we had a family party and then she received another surprise. Two of Hannah’s best friends who had moved away, surprised her and came back for her birthday!

My kids love to lick the candles. Joel copies everything Hannah does….we just forgot to tell him not to put the part that was on fire in his mouth! I guess sometimes we learn lessons the hard way!
