I’m working on my own personal study of the joy of the Lord is my strength from Nehemiah 8:10. As I am working through this study, I will probably be posting random thoughts and revelations. I am also going to be looking at how those of us who do experience the joy of the Lord can make it “contagious”. I would love to hear comments about your own personal reflections on the joy of the Lord in your lives.
It has been a while since I have had any deep writings. I have been reflecting a lot. Lots rolling around in my head. Much to get down on paper. Much to continue to pray about. I have certain passions and desires that are just trying to jump right out of me, but I’m just not sure how the Lord wants to use me at this point in my life. I have much I want to share. Please pray for me as I continue to seek the will of my Heavenly Father.
Today while we were up at South Mountain State Park, I couldn’t help but to just reflect for a moment at the place where this picture was taken. I felt pure joy and peace spring up inside of me at this beautiful sight. The colors were so vibrant. The water so calm. A moment with God. That is what it is all about!

I miss your family. It looks like you had a great time in the forest.
How do we manage to be mothers and still fulfill our destiny without guilt? I am not sure it really happens. I am working on getting into medical school and each day I spend more and more time away from home. I miss my children and my family and I feel like they are sliding farther away, but we seem to connect at the perfect moments and they are forgiving. We will see a future that is brighter at the end of my journey. As for you, I know that you will be a light to all who encounter you either in print or in person. You are christ to others when you interact with your family in public. I found that to be very motivating. (of course you are christ to your family when you are at home) I find that to be very convicting but exciting. You will fulfill your purpose in Him, and your road may look different from others but it doesn’t mean that it is not your purpose that He (God) has willed for you. The Holy Father knows our deepest desires when we trust him he will do beyond what we could ever imagine. ( I have seen that in you)
