Respected Sir,
Greetings from FACT, Machilipatnam Krishna District Andhra Pradesh INDIA. I am introducing as Founder and Project Director for Faith Action for Community Transformation (FACT). I have committed and dedicated my life to serve the poor and downtrodden people especially depressed Street Children and Women of this area.
FACT is a Non-Profit, Non-Political Organization, under the Society registration Act XXI of 1860. It was registered with the Ministry of Home Affairs, India under the FCRA Act 1976 to receive foreign contributions, and Income Tax exempted under U/S 12A (a) of India. We started our mission from ‘1986”.
FACT had practical experience and knowledge to organize & involve people in all our development programs. FACT has been meeting the needs of Poorest of the poor Children and Women, improving their living conditions. Women have been suffering with the male dominated society. There is so much need to eradicate poverty, illiteracy and improve Health conditions, not only to eradicate, but also to create new way of life.
We are committed to help the poor, our passion is to love and serve. To solve unsolved Problems innovatively. To educating our target groups and to utilizes resources. To give unlimited opportunities to Women and Children. To strength to find solution to critical problems as a group. To preserve and improve human life and to make people happy.”
Give a man fish and he will eat for a day, teach his how to fish and he will eat for a lifetime. But what is the path to the river it self strewn with obstacles? Our strategy takes into account the close relationship between the removal of poverty, irradiation of illiteracy, health education and the concern for the environment. Which has been a traditional future of India’s past. Unless the rural environment is managed in a way in which it can be support sustainable livelihood, a crucial link in the strategy to eradicate poverty on permanent basis.
We are dedicated our life to shown the practical love of God for the poor and needy Children. When we see these street Children I found my self-thinking, why are these children born? In the searching heart they have to walk with bare foot on burning pavements. They are sleeping on the way side in all the seasons, without proper clothing, food and not having single bed sheet. When they go home after the day’s hard work they give the money to their parents or Guardians. Often they drunk and these only thank which he given his earning kinds is a sound beating.
These Street Children are asking me and you.
What do you see when you’re looking at me? My clothes are all tatters, my hair full of fleas. My body is battered, my feet always bear and burning, but you know I have a heart, and need someone to care. A long time ago, I had a mother, a father, a sister, an aunt, and a brother.
Where are they now?
The weather is cold. I need someone to love me, someone to hold and hug me. The cold and the wet has been eating my bones. Each day early in the morning when people start walking, the fires are all lit, but I huddle shaking. If I rise very early the pickings are best, I dodge the night watchman and fight off the rats. The other rag pickers, they are my brothers, my father, my sister, my aunt, and my mother. We all need a family, someone of our own, a father and a mother, and love in a home.
Look in my eyes, I’m just a child. But my body is old and my head very wise. Christmas to me, is like any day, whenever I eat sufficient food.
So tell me why Christmas is special to some, and who is this God, and who is his Son? Where is he now, can he see me, as I pick through the rubbish, and scratch at the fleas?
You tell me this story, a baby was born, in a manger he laid, with the beasts in a stall And Mary his mother, loved him so much, But she knew from the start, He was given to us. A Gift He was called, from our Father above, and sent to this earth, for each one to love. Can I be this baby, just for a while, and have someone to love me, and someone to smile.
And perhaps I’ll believe that the Lord is my helper, and be not afraid, when man tries to hurt me. So next time you see me, see Mary’s child, not a dirty rag picker, discarded and wild. Please kindly consider our request and help us these poor and needy Children.
Sincerely Yours,
Rao.Ch

Wow, I just looked back over my last comment to you and thought you wouldn’t give me an A in my writing test today.
I just wanted to let you know that the REAL FLU is going around in the public schools now and that I will be praying for your children that they may be covered and protected. It is throwing up, fever diahrea etc. They think in 2 days they are better but then it starts all over again. The best thing they are telling them is to stay out till they are sure it is over,. That then don’t bring it back to school.
Just a public tip. I know the only place they would come intouch would be church and playing with neighbors or out in the public.
Stay healthy
Our LOVE & PRAYERS
Barbara
